Farewell and welcome

I haven't had time for blogging in a long time, I've been too busy for the past two weeks... But now, I've finally settled down in a lovely home in London. My family is half Spanish/ half American, so I get to practice my Spanish skills as well. I've spent five days here now, and I've already learnt a lot. The family has three children, and the youngest is on his negative age, so I get to stand a lot of anger and frustration of  his side.

 Now, about the goodbyes before I even got here. I had three different farewell parties, and both were great. I miss you all already! I got this awesome pillow case from the girls, and it's already in use! And lots and lots of other things which I appreciate as much. One of my best friends even bought gas for my car so I wouldn't have to buy any more before I left. <3

I've not had time for discovering much yet ( I've not even found a single Starbucks yet!!!?) But the first day I got here I went to Oxford street with a bunch of Spanish girls. They were wonderful, but they had a hard time understanding me because of their skills in English.

In Finnish:
Noniin, oon vihdoin päässyt asettautumaan Brittilandiaan! Perheeni on siis puoliksi espanjalainen/ puoliksi amerikkalainen, joten puhetta riittää ja samalla harjaantuvat myös espanjan kielen taitoni. Viiden päivän aikana mieleen on palautunut jo hurjasti! Perheessä on kolme lasta, joista nuorin on uhma-iässä... Jokapäiväiseen elämään kuuluu siis sietää paljon kiukkua ja turhautuneisuutta.

Ennen lähtöäni ehdin viettää kolmet läksiäiset, yhdet sukulaisten kanssa sekä muutamat kera ystävien. Tytöiltä sain ihanan tyynyliinan kuvilla ja kirjoituksella, joka on jo kovassa käytössä! Ja paljon paljon muuta yhtä mahtavaa, mutta ei ehkä julkisesti mainittavaa (allekirjoittaneet tunnustakoon). Paljon en ole ehtinyt tutustumaan, kun olen ehkä maailman tumpeloin noitten bussien kanssa (äsken kyllä tajusin että google maps ilmoittaa bussin numeronkin mikä mun pitää ottaa tiettyyn kohteeseen...) mutta Oxford streetillä kävin kääntymässä ensimmäisenä päivänäni lauantaina muutaman espanjalaisen kanssa. Kommunikointi ei kyllä oikein onnistunut, multa toi espanja ei vielä ihan suju kuin vettä vaan ja heillä oli sama juttu englannin kanssa.
